Chris Pottinger was selected as one of the 2012 Kresge arts in Detroit Performing arts fellows. This was awarded because of work in his solo experimental electronics project COTTON MUSEUM. This is huge opportunity to further creative work thanks to the grant, along with other professional opportunities. Follow the link above for more info.
We are very excited to announce that SLITHER (Chris Pottinger & Heath Moerland) has a recording that is included in a release with the SUN RA ARKESTRA. It is part of a huge box set released by Museum of Contemporary art in Detroit called "BOX #1". Limited to 200 copies. Some of the things included in the box are: 12" LP of Sun Ra Arkestra recorded live in Detroit (1979), a book on music theory written by Faruq Z. Bey (Griot Galaxy).
