JAM 2008
Calling all Dune Brothers and Dune Sisters!! Each year we have a sand dune jam
at Island
Lake State Park in Brighton, MI. This year it will be on Saturday,
May 24th from Noon till whenever. Bring horns, guitars, drums and any other non-electronic
instruments. Park in the "Spring Mill Pond" lot, then follow the sounds!
ODD
CLOUDS / SLITHER / COTTON MUSEUM LPs On QBICO
We've been
hard at work getting 3 new LP's all put together for
the
QBICO record
label out of Italy, for the past couple months.
QBICO will
be releasing the 3 records simultaneously in the next
month or so. One from ODD
CLOUDS (as a picture
disk with art from Jamie Easter and Chris Pottinger),
another from COTTON
MUSEUM,
and a 1 sided SLITHER LP. Can't wait
for them to come out!! I'll have them for sale through
the
TASTY SOIL STORE as soon as they are
released.

ART
IN NEW YORK CITY
Thurston
Moore is curating an art show called ART/NOISE that
opens in NYC on May 16th 2008 at the KS
ART gallery. All
the art is provided by experimental musicians who are
also visual artists. I'll have 2 pieces in the show
along with Bill Nace, Mike Connelly, Maya Miller, John
Weise and many more. I'll be t the show for the opening
and checking out NO FUN FEST the next night!
SLITHER / SIXES SPLIT 7" RECORD
Released
for the recent European tour, limited to 250 copies! SLITHER is
black-mold basement reed & electronics scum from
Chris Pottinger & Heath Moerland. SIXES is
satanic sludge from Oakland, California--creating doom
noise from the gates of hell. Art & layout by Chris
